Dr. Mahan Alavi
Dr. Alavi completed his Doctor of Dental Surgery training at the University of Toronto. Following his graduation, he was awarded with one year of hospital dental residency at the Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre in Toronto where he provided dental services to hospital inpatients and a large group of medically compromised outpatient population. Furthermore, he gained valuable clinical experience in management of patients with special needs and is certified to provide moderate IV sedation. Prior to joining Dentistry on King he led two dental offices in the suburbs of Toronto.

Dr. David Cheng
Dr. Cheng received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Western University. He has been serving Toronto patients since 1987. In his pursuit of knowledge he has completed over 3500 hours of continuing education throughout the years. Dr. Cheng attended leading dental institutes such as the Kois Center, Misch Implant Institute, and the LD Pankey Institute which all have helped him design a dental practice that is truly patient-centered. He speaks English and Cantonese fluently. Dr. Cheng is passionate about dental education and actively writes about this topic on drchengs.com.

Dr. Cheng has over 30 years of experience and has been consistently improving his skills and knowledge with over 3500 hours of continuing education. Dr. Cheng has studied cosmetic dentistry, implants, regenerative dentistry, orthodontics, TMJ, and occlusion from North America’s leading institutes and dental clinicians.
